One month ago, Ava leapt into our lives. As we watched one door, she was brought up the back stairs. We heard someone furiously trying to get into the locked door. About the time we realized it was Ava, the door was opened, she was screaming "MaMa" and jumping into my arms. It was an amazing Gotcha Day...

I don't remember how I came across your blog but I was excited to read your story. My husband and I are in the process of adopting our first child, a girl from Taiwan. Thank you for sharing your story! You have a beautiful family. :) I hope Lily is doing well after the huge scare you had!
